نَفَثَ \ belch: (of a chimney, etc.) to send out (smoke, flames) with great force.. puff: (of a person) to breathe out in puffs, esp. after running; (of smoke) to rise in puffs; (of a chimney, a steam engine, etc.) to send out puffs of smoke or steam: The train was puffing along (The engine was puffing out smoke as the train went along).
